Forget about all the other dough's you've tried over the years. This is the best. It has the perfect amount of chewiness, fluffiness and flavour. We eat homemade pizza like once every two weeks so I am basically a self proclaimed expert on this hahaha
In a medium to large mixing bowl, add the water yeast and sugar. Stir to combine. Let sit for 5 minutes until the yeast puffs up. This is how you know your yeast is good to go :)
Add in the salt, oil, and seasonings if using. Now add all the flour and work together until smooth.
oil the bowl you mixed the dough in and roll your ball of dough around so it is lightly covered in oil as well. Cover with a clean kitchen towel or Saran wrapRise until the dough has doubled in size this takes anywhere from 45minutes - 1 hour.
Shape the Dough
Dust work surface with Corn Meal. Dust pizza Pans with the cornmeal as well! This prevents the dough from sticking but doesn't give that raw dough taste and texture.
Divide into two equal pieces. Roll out each piece of dough with a rolling pin until it is about 14" in diameter, this way you have enough to create a nice crust and cover the whole pan.
Bake!
Add all of your toppings and Bake in a 425°F oven for 20-22minutes.
